    Common Qs And As:

    Q. Are virtual visits an option?

Rooted Revival is pleased to offer HIPAA Compliant virtual counseling sessions for those that need or prefer an online experience rather in person.

    Q. Do you offer group counseling?

Rooted Revival presently does not have any therapeutic groups running at this time.

    Q. How much does a therapy session cost?

    Individuals:

    • New Client Appointment = $140 (50 minute session)
    • Follow Up Appointment = $115 (50 minute session)

    Couples / Families:

    • New Client(s) Appointment = $165 (50 minute session)
    • Follow Up Appointment = $140 (50 minute session)

90 minute sessions can be requested and fee negotiated directly with Miranda.

    Q. Do you take insurance?

Rooted Revival is not contracted with any insurance companies. This means that your insurance company isn’t dictating how you receive your mental wellness treatment. This means Miranda is allowed to decide what is charged, how long she sees you for sessions, AND you don’t have to be given a formal & clinical mental health diagnosis that is listed in your health records for others to access. Not being contracted with insurance companies gives Rooted Revival the opportunity to create a truly personalized treatment plan for you!

Contact your insurance company directly to investigate your out of network benefits. Here are some good questions to ask:

    • Do I have out-of-network outpatient mental health benefits on my current plan?
      • These are the possible CPT codes that might be billed (90791, 90834, 90837, 90847)
    • Do I need to have any prior approval (prior authorization) to use these benefits?
      • How do I go about getting a prior authorization?
    • How much of my outpatient mental health treatment will be covered? (a percentage or dollar amount)
    • My therapist says she can provide me a “Superbill,” what is the process for submitting that for reimbursement? Is there a time limit for submission/reimbursement?
